Upcycled Sweater into Cozy Winter Wreath

"Got an old sweater that you no longer can wear? My favorite sweater slowly became too holey to wear any longer. I loved it way too much to toss! It was re-purposed into a DIY winter wreath. And while at it, I also upcycled an old scarf to create accent flowers. This is an easy and quick NO sew wreath craft using a foam wreath form and straight pins. So grab an old sweater and start cutting it up today for this cozy DIY winter wreath!"

Materials List

  • Old sweater
  • Styrofoam wreath form
  • Sewing scissors
  • Straight pins
  • Optional: Old scarf or fabric for flower rosettes

NotesYour sweater doesn't have pockets. No problem. Cut additional long sweater strips (possibly gluing ends together to make a longer length) and wrap around top of wreath form and tie a bow.
