Dollar Store Ornament Wreath

Love this wreath? Check out our video tutorial for how to make a Dollar Store Ornament Wreath.

  1. Hot glue large and medium ornaments to the inner and outer part of the floral wreath.

  2. Continue gluing large and medium ornaments to the other parts of the wreath.

  3. Fill in the gaps with the small ornaments. You may need to glue the small ornaments to the other ornaments instead of to the wreath.

  4. Make a loop with your ribbon and glue both free ends to the back of the floral wreath. If you would like, you can also add a bow.

  5. Hang on a door or wall and spread some Christmas cheer!

What a great project to do with a group of kids like girl scouts or boy scouts or just with a group of friends to see what everyone can come up with on their wreaths and the best part is you can find the supplies at the dollar store or why not search the thrift stores or even your own stash from previous years. Super easy and a video to watch to go along with the tutorial.

Tried this craft? What did you think?

I love the look of this ornament wreath, especially varying the sizes of each ball ornament for visual interest! I could see putting little pearls in between or dusting the ornaments with some glitter or wisps of glittered sticks here and there or holly leaves for a more embellished look! This would also, look great on a table runner with a large candle in the center!

What a great Idea. Now I know what to do with the random plastic ornaments in my Christmas box. I just painted my front door teal blue so I would make this in a combination of white, silver and blue balls. A similar wreath would be quite pricey in a home decor store.

Amazing!! What a creative way to make an affordable decoration for the holidays. I really like that this is so full and sparkling.
