These are absolutely a fabulous idea for stocking stuffer gifts... And actually could be used in slippers or large socks at night to warm cold feet as well as in mittens! I have made larger versions of these for neck warmers using cotton fabric of many colors and designs, and even have added a few bits of dried lavender for some calming fragrance as well! Thanks for a lovely project idea! Super creative and practical too!

These are too cute, and quite effective. A co-worker gave me one for Christmas. Although it's not nearly as cute as this one. The "hand warmers" can also be used as hot/cold packs for injuries, aches, and pains. They conform to the area, and provide relief.

These are precious! I would love making some for myself this winter - a Christmas gift to me!
