In the Designer's Words: "These DIY Cork Coasters are an easy and fun eco-friendly way to turn your love for wine into awesome coasters that will protect your countertop in style."
The Coaster Wine Cork Crafts are going to add a practical yet pretty texture to your living room. Cork is one of the best materials to use to make DIY coasters because it is soft, buoyant, and absorbs moisture all too well. The subtle, tan color of the material allows it to do its job without taking up too much visual real estate. Buying cork, however, is not entirely sustainable and it can be expensive. This is why wine cork crafts are a crazy popular way to upcycle and recycle while crafting.
There are plenty of tutorials on how to make coasters from wine corks out there, but this project is special because it comes in a unique shape and looks store-bought. The happy hexagon shape of these DIY coasters allows you to protect your surfaces without adding a boring, square to your decor.
