"I noticed your question has been on here unanswered for years, over a decade actually, the yarn is a self striping yarn, so its a single skein with the colors in it. RS means right side in knitting. the knit version is on this page immediately under the crochet version, it is a short 3 line paragraph, so easily missed. This website hosts the patterns, so they are not going to email you back answers to your questions, that's why they have been on here for so long without answers. "This pattern is very difficut to follow. I have ripped out row 7 so much the yarn has broken. It says after the fpdc to dc in sp and next dc and refers yoyu back to the which says dc in ch sp. If you follow the instructions you end up with less stitches"

"I love this project so I researched the yarn. I find that Naturally Caron Country yarn comes in 3 oz skeins. I saw nothing larger for that exact kind. I am highly sensitive to color dye lot errors and always be sure to buy enough when making a purchase, even when buying the "NO DYE LOT " yarns as I know they are not always the same. I query if the recommended yarn allotment will actually be sufficient or if a larger skein was used. It would be so helpful if the yarn that is recommended for a project was also listed by ounces (oz) and/or yards."
