I have a friend who takes old furniture from thrift store and makes some very expensive looking pieces out of them buy painting and decorating them with designs or paint. This is such an easy thing to do and so rewarding and so much cheaper than buying them. I love painting furniture and am getting ready to redo mine a cabinet I got for $7.00 at thrift store and this has given me some inspiration. You can even add some nailheads or decoupage your pieces. Why not try it.

I love painting furniture. I've done several pieces myself, and this design is really cute. Love it!
