Looking for a sock easy pattern to cover a cast to keep toes woarm quick and easy one??

love knitted dishcloths that is pretty much the only thing I use my mom ask me what I want for christmas or my bday & that is what I say she now asked what we need for our anniversary I said more dishcloths lol I love them

In answer to my own question, I googled knit in the row below and got a great video clip explaining and showing how to do this stitch. In making this dishcloth, I REALLY liked this stitch, and the hand of the cloth it makes. I did not start in the 2nd row as the pattern suggests. I knitted 3 rows and started on the 4th row instead. I will do the same at the end giving it a border.

I have a question. In the waffle dishcloth in row 2, it says to knit 1 in the st in the row below. Do you slide off the stitch on your needle? That's kind of scary.
