Picot Edge Knit Dishcloth Pattern

Picot Edge Knit Dishcloth Pattern
This image courtesy of

The Picot Edge Knit Dishcloth Pattern is a delicate yet functional cloth and would be a wonderful addition to any bathroom or kitchen sink. This free pattern will show you how to knit a dishcloth as well as how to crochet a picot edge. You must know how to both knit and crochet in order to make this lovely decorative dishcloth. The crochet picot edge finishes off the pretty wave pattern that the knitting creates in the center. It's difficult to find things that are both useful and elegant, but this knit dishcloth pattern fits the bill.

I have not knitted in years but I think I can catch on again especially with this tutorial on making this picot edge knit discloth. These are so dainty looking and make great gifts especially for a house warming gift. You can make them in a color that matches their wall color or decor. Thanks for thae pattern.

I just love the look of this Picot Edge Knit Dishcloth. I wish I knew how to knit, I only crochet. So, by chance do you have a crochet pattern for this beautiful dishcloth? I would make a lot of these to keep and give. Only if I could knit.. Sorry! Thank you though for this beautiful pattern.

This is a beautiful dishcloth pattern. You can make some for yourself and some for gifts. The basic pattern is easy and the picot trimming adds the perfect touch. You can have an elegant dishcloth in the bathroom. I always have to be knitting, crocheting or both and sometimes I just want a pattern that works up quickly and is practical to boot. Thank you.

I really like this, but a crochet hook still defeats me and I know I couldn't finish it off as neatly as she did. However, she said she added the picot edging, so it wasn't on the original pattern. Would it be worth making without the edging? I think it would be pretty anyway, but I'm not sure.

I love the look of this dish cloth. It looks so soft and absorbent. I have never tried the Chinese wave pattern before, so I think I will need to practice it a bit first with swatching. This pattern is a combination of both knitting and crochet. The main section is knit, and the edging is crochet.

I'm excited about this wash cloth even though I'll have to put it on the back burner until I get some experience under my my belt! I've been wanting to do a spa gift basket for my lady friends and this little jewel will be perfect for it--in a wire basket with a homemade sugar face scrub to go along side.

This picot edge knit dishcloth is really cute and you can use worsted weight yarn. You will have to know how to crochet also to do the picot stitch. The Chinese weave knit pattern is a real cute pattern once it is complete. I do think this pattern would be for intermediate knitters that can also crochet. This is a fun pattern and you could use cotton yarn also.
