I am not sure if I will add the fringes for the boys, but I chose nice gray color for my son. He thinks fringes are girls treat-) and will not have it on his scarf. But all the idea is really good, since I didn't have time to crochet one this month. I did make one in pink for my friends daughter and the fringes were dark red. She really liked it.

Great project! I like to make my kids scarfs in bright colors.

not only soft and cosy, but great activity for a snow day with three bored girls. Colourful pieces of fleece intended for dog beds became scarves -- even the six-year-old could manage this scarf with a little help with the fringe - we drew a line with pencil and ruler and helped her with one end, the other end she managed herself with just the line -- their scarves were such successes that they made others as gifts for next Christmas. Super idea. Thank you

This looks so soft and cozy! Way better than scratchy yarn.
