From the blogger: "Have you ever worked with T-shirt yarn? It’s like ordinary yarn or wool, just thicker; and, there are so many things you can do with it. You can buy it at any self-respecting haberdashery or wool shop or you can make your own. This Tree of Life dreamcatcher can be made in an hour. All you will need, besides the yarn, is a large ring or embroidery hoop and some fabric scraps. Use a small piece of the yarn to hang the dreamcatcher on the wall."

This has to be the most adorable dreamcatcher craft i have seen this year. I love the Tree of Life Dreamcatcher because of how simple it is to make and using t-shirt yarn is so much fun. I made mine from an old t-shirt that i wasn't wearing anymore, but i decided to tie and dye it first to create a mandala vibe to it.

This is a cute creative project with t-shirt yarn. I'm looking for a project to make with children ages 8-10 years old. I wonder if this is doable with that age group? Is t-shirt yarn available at most craft stores? It might be even more fun if we tear apart t-shirts and make our own yarn!
