- Thin 1/8” or ¼” thick satin ribbon in two complementary colors
Begin by cutting about 3-4’ long piece of ribbon in each color.
Fold the ribbon in half.
Begin at the closure end and secure your ribbon at the end by doing a quick tight weave.
Begin braiding the ribbon back and forth across and through the barrette base.
Once you get to the end, make sure you have a tight weave/braid and then tie it off.
Trim the ends to the length you prefer.
