This project was made using dishes broken by an unfortunate accident, the base of a broken birdbath and wood from a discard kitchen cabinet. I made my project in just one day. I so love the personal stories that inspire an artist to create something meaningful and special. I live in Wisconsin and I am wondering exactly what thrift store her daughter bought the French toile plates? I have done mosaic with broken dishes before, and I had lots of fun creating it. I am a designer at heart. So, I love this project!
