Easy DIY Hot Tea Bomb Recipe
From the blogger: "Hot tea bombs are simply stunning, beautiful and a great idea for an afternoon pick me up. Imagine how cozy and warm you’ll feel when you’re greeted by your very own mug of herbal tea and beautiful flowers. And did I mention they’re super easy to make! After you melt all of the water and Isomalt together in a small sauce pan, bring the liquid to a boil. When it’s ready, add food coloring and transfer to silicon candy molds. After you let the liquid cool, the molds make them easy to pop out. I love adding edible flowers and Big Heart teas, before assembling the hot tea bombs. "
- One cup Isomalt
- 1/4 cup water
- Food coloring
- Silicone candy mold
- Edible flowers
- Tea bags
Combine the Isomalt and water in a small sauce pan.
Melt, stirring until it becomes a clear liquid.
Bring the liquid to 320 degrees, no need to stir.
Add food coloring.
Place liquid in round candy molds, be sure to coat them thoroughly.
Transfer molds to freezer to cool, at least one hour.
Remove each bomb from the silicon mold by peeling the mold from the bomb.
Add your favorite tea bag and edible flowers into one half of the bomb.
Assemble two halves of the tea bomb together.
