"When I was a child, I was diagnosed with a genetic medical condition, and as a result of how my condition was discovered, I spent 2 years in and out of Hospital with surgeries. While I was bedridden, my mother taught me to cross stitch, sew and crochet. She tried to teach me to knit as well, but it never took I managed to get the hang out of "casting on" and that was it. The crochet was much easier for me to learn, and I have managed to work my way up to doing intermediate patterns, but not yet to advanced. I would like to learn to knit, but I'm not so sure I could get the hang of it. I do love to crochet though."

"Add a splash of color to your dining table with this Picot Flower Doily Coaster. I am definitely a fan of Crochet Coasters. I love making them. Crochet Coasters are quick to make and they are absolutely apt for using up your small bits of yarn stash. Cotton yarn is always preferable for making coasters. I call this Picot Coaster as I've used Picot Stitch for the border which gives the flowery look. These would be a great for your home décor and they also make great gifts for any occasion. You can add them along with a Gift Mug or gift them as it is. Materials Used:- 8 ply Cotton Yarn(any two colors) 4mm Crochet Hook"
