In the Designer's Words: "Turn a simple pair of cheap flip flops into some lightweight crocheted slippers/house shoes with this simple tutorial. The cotton yarn makes them perfect for warmer weather!"

You will not believe the transformation that happens before your eyes when you learn how to make slippers out of old flip flips. This unexpected free crochet pattern is cheap to make and will last a long time. Unlike other crochet slipper patterns, this charming idea has some serious sole. By adding old shoes in new ways to your crocheting, the Flip Flop Crochet Slippers allow you to make footwear you can wear somewhere besides your home. Never again will you have to switch out of your slippers to step outside for a moment. These would make brilliant beach shoes, too!

This idea is a life saver. The idea of using flip flops to make house slippers is great for those times you wanna step outside for some fresh air and not worry about getting your crotchet slippers dirty.

These Flip Flop Crochet Slippers are totally awesome! I'm looking forward to making these and hope I can find the flip flops this time of year, (winter). I like the written pattern that is easy to follow and the idea that there is a video to help you step by step. I often run out side in my slippers only to step in water and getting a soaker . These are going to be my go to slippers from now on. No more soakers.. LOL There are also some other great flip flop slippers patterns on her page. Checked them out, I saved all of them. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern,

Love these!! #BestIdeaEver
