Made with a DK (light worsted) yarn and 4.5 mm (7) crochet hook works up quickly with less than 2 skeins of yarn. I have used Alize Cotton Gold ( 45% cotton, 55% acrylic). Cotton yarn is strong and  will not stretch after wash This bag is for beginners with some crochet experience (single crochet, double crochet)."
