This is funny, but it never occurred to me that a bulky weight yarn would be easier for a beginner. Hence, the Red Heart Chunky yarn in use for this neutral unisex afghan! Does this have fringe? It is not hard to do at all. Beginners- use YouTube for tons of helpful tutorials as you navigate your way in exploring what is sure to be your NEW FAVE craft!

I always like to go to Youtube and search for Crochet Guru when I need help. Her lessons are easy to follow and I have learned a lot of stitches from her.

I love this Light Grey Easy Crochet Afghan. The color can be used or anyone. And the bulky yarn I like using when my arthritis is acting up. It's much easier to work with. This pattern will work up quickly for a nice gift. Thank you so much for sharing this free easy crochet afghan pattern.

I love this Light Grey Easy Afghan for its simplicity, its plainness and its being unassuming. Nice!

Chunky yarn is the best for beginners because you can see the stitches very well so if you're instructed to yarn over on a particular chain number you don't have a problem doing that. This patterns is something your can do mindlessly once you get the hang of it and since it's very repetitive, you won't have a problem following through.
