This is a lovely technique and would make a great family project. i could see making these out of gold paper or adding some thinned white glue to the surface and then have it dusted with a bit of snow effect or glittered sprinkles ... You could even add a some roping embellishment in red or green as a garland wrapped around the tree. Great idea!
