Bath Soak Ingredients

1 Cup Epsom Salt
10-20 Drops of Essential Oil (Lavender)
½ Cup baking soad
1 Cup Citric Acid
Decorative Plastic Bags
Ribbon
Printed Label
 

How to Make Fizzy Bath Soaks

Follow the instructions below to learn how to make bath soaks you are your friends will adore. You can easily design customized bath soak recipes by using different essential oils and essential oil combinations.

  1. Pour salt into bowl or container. 
     

  2. Add 10-20 drops of your essential oil into the salt, depending on how strong-smelling you want your soak.

  3. Stir up the essential oils and Epsom salt well with a spoon. Other ingredients will cause a reaction if the oils are too concentrated and puddle together.

  4. Add ½ cup baking soda and stir.

  5. Add 1 cup of citric acid and mix.

  6. Add mixture to clear bags, tie closed with ribbon, and add a label.

I love the smell of lavender and it has many health benfits and this homemade lavender soak will make a great Christmas gift,birthday or teacher or for anyone. I really like this video because it shows how to make it all the way through and even says you can substitute different scents to make more than just the lavender. Great to even put in your guest bathroom when you have visitors. Do you have to use the citric acid? That is not a natural ingredient and I hesitate using it.
