We are posting this on behalf of reader, Marian. Can you help?

Marian writes, "I'm hoping that you can help me. My Grandmother had knitted a sweater, using only 1 skein of wool. The sweater had 3/4 sleeves, was about waist-length; the knitted stitches looked as if they were "elongated". She used a pattern that was from a skein of wool (I think it was from Red Heart). I'm hoping that you can find the pattern or send the question to others--if they know of the pattern."

While surfing the net recently, I came across a book put out by Storey Publishing entitled, "One Skein Wonders". It sells for $18.99 on overstock.com; you might find it for less elsewhere now that you have a title to search. Good luck and great knitting!!
