Made with a white feather boa and a couple of white doves, this Two Turtle Doves Wreath is a great addition to your holiday decor.  With bright pops of red embellishments, this stunning homemade Christmas wreath is complimentary to almost any decor scheme.  Display this DIY wreath on your front door to help bring a message of peace, tranquility, and good will to your home this holiday season.

Two Turtle Doves Wreath

  • White feather boa
  • 120” of 1.4” wide red satin edge organza ribbon
  • 8” of 0.4” wide red organza ribbon
  • Red glitter berries
  • Three 1” sized plastic star-shaped snowflakes
  • Three 2” sized white bamboo hearts
  • Two small artificial white birds
  • Stiff cardboard
  • Two plates, one with a diameter of 10.4” and the other with a diameter of 8.4”
  • Pencil
  • Standard scissors
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks

  1. Place the plate with the diameter of 10.4” onto the cardboard and trace around it, so that you will have traced a big circle onto the cardboard.
  2. Center the second plate with the diameter of 8.4” and trace around the plate.
  3. Cut out both circles that you have traced, so that you will have a cardboard ring.
  4. Wrap the feather boa around the cardboard ring, using the hot glue gun to attach the boa to the cardboard ring.
  5. Cut the 120” red satin edge organza ribbon in three equal pieces. Attach one of the pieces to the top of the cardboard ring and make a bow. Add a drop of glue with the hot glue gun so that the bow won’t come undone.
  6. Tie the 0.4” red organza ribbon to the back of this bow and make a knot this will be used to hang the wreath.
  7. Add the second and third pieces of red satin edge organza ribbon to the ring.
  8. Glue a white bamboo heart on top of every red bow.
  9. Glue a red star-shaped snowflake and glitter berries on top of each heart.
