Kids will love making this, and of course I could see using all types of plastic containers that you might have on hand, or if you are in a class, have the kids bring in their own! Instead of drawing on the face, you could embellish it with buttons glued on for eyes, yarn or pipe cleaners for the whiskers, and even add a little bow or ribbon for even more fun and a cute look that the kids will enjoy creating! Glue on some cotton balls in the back for a tail! Fun!

$10 seems high for this craft. I'm sure I could make it cheaper. My preschoolers in my home daycare will love making these! Sometimes its hard for them to squeeze the glue out of the bottle, so I pour some in a container and let the kids dip in a Popsicle stick to get their glue out. I use a small, glass votive candle holder because its heavy and doesnt tip over like a lightweight plastic dish would. Its also deeper than wide, so you dont have to put in a lot of glue for the kids to get enough glue on their sticks.
