Pull String Art and Clay Earrings

Pull String Art and Clay Earrings

"This tutorial not only explains how to complete a finished project, but also the steps involved in the simple technique of pull string art. Typically it is done on paper. But it works just as well on polymer clay and results in beautiful color and designs. No two efforts turn out the same. I used acrylic paint but many mediums can be used including alcohol ink and other paints. Results vary with different tools - in a good way! Pull string art is a fast and simple technique requiring no artistic skill. But the finished product can look like something created by a skilled artisan."

I have worked with clay for a couple years and I love it. It's a great medium that allows you to really express yourself. I have never heard of this technique though. I read the directions and it seems easy enough so I think it's time to add a new craft to my skills.
