PVC pipe crafts are gaining popularity because they are such a rustic and cheap material, and you can make so many different projects with it! Hearken back to your days of building with Legos and Lincoln Logs when you craft with PVC Pipe. With this video tutorial, you'll learn how to make the easiest candelabra ever using a strong glue, PVC pipe, and paint. When completed, visitors will never guess what your stunning centerpiece is made out of! You will delight in the process of crafting with this unexpected material.

Materials List

  • Flat top candlestick
  • PVC Pipes
  • PVC joint
  • PVC corners
  • PVC pipe cutter
  • 5 small saucers
  • Heavy duty glue
  • Gemstones, beads, crystals, and any embellishments you like!
  • Glitter paint

Instructions

  1. Cut your PVC pipe into 4 arms.

  2. Glue the inside of the PVC pipe into the joint so all four pieces are secure and even.

  3. Glue the PVC corners onto the 4 ends of the pipes.

  4. Paint the PVC pipes whatever color you like. This example uses white with a glitter accent.

  5. Glue the PVC arm piece on top of the candlestick base.

  6. Glue all the saucers on top of the PVC ends and one in the center.

  7. Add your gems, beads, and other embellishments.

  8. Place your candles (real or LED) on top of each saucer. Put the big one in the middle.

What a great idea. It's just basic items that you can get at lowes but it sure turns out a very pretty project. The directions are very easy, along with pictures to help you along the way. I think a pair of these will look very nice on my mantel come the holidays.
