This is a great way to learn how to crochet and accomplish a project fast and feel good about it and you can even make a few and put in a cute bag and give as a special gift with whatever smell you like or just keep for yourself and put in your drawers or in closets or even put in the guest bedroom to keep a fresh smell. I love these sachets and the crochet makes it look so much prettier than those you buy in the envelopes. You can take the envelope and open them up and pour them in the crochet ones so you do not have to create your own smell if you want. Super video and tutorial. I am loving these projects.

While this project is simple, you could make dozens of these and give them away as house warming gifts, bridal showers, even baby showers. I love how easy the project is and how easy it would be to change the colors. Plus, the fact you could really decorate them with different edges if you wanted to. #NationalCraftMonth2017

This is such a fun project #NationalCraftMonth2017

Easy idea. Very nice. #NationalCraftMonth2017

I am a beginner at crochet but think I could to this. #NationalCraftMonth2017

This makes me wish I could crochet! #nNationalCraftMonth2017

#NationalCraftMonth2017 I think I'll use this pattern for my wedding favors!

#NationalCraftMonth2017. Easy, quick, pretty and useful. What more could you want in project? I'll be making a lot of these.

Great! #NationalCraftMonth2017

I love sachets AND I have a lavender bush in the backyard. Two birds with one stone! I crochet a lot and this patter is excellent for those small left-over skeins that always seem to hang around my stockpile. This would help me clean out a few of those plus the added benefit that I will have good smelly things!

#NationalCraftMonth2017 I bet this would smell lovely. I have a pachoulli plant that would beamazing.

This looks easy enough to make, but what do you do with it? Throw it in the washer with the laundry? In the dryer? #NationalCraftMonth2017

One suggestion in the video is to keep it in the sock drawer for a pleasant, fresh scent! :)

Leave a comment...#NationalCraftMonth2017 I would be worried that it would leave a mess in the dryer and on the clothes eventually when it started to wear out.

Ma1030, you keep them in your dresser drawer, or hanging in your closet, or pack them in with your seasonal clothes. Depending on what you fill a sachet with it can keep clothing smelling fresh, or repel creatures (moths and mice), or both. You can use them for Aromatherapy too, and tuck one in your pillow case, or under a sheet. Pop one in your car under the seat, or hang from the rear view mirror for an air freshener. Multipurpose packets, they are.

cool, thanks

I wonder if the lavender will leak out of the holes as the sachet gets older and dries out. #NationalCraftMonth2017

Tracee, you could probably sew a tiny fabric lining inside for added security! Hope that idea helps!

Ooh, I am making some of these! Great idea! #NationalCraftMonth2017

#NationalCraftMonth2017 What a lovely quick project! Love the sachets!

#NationalCraftMonth2017 Great idea for a lingerie drawer!

I am going to have to learn how to crochet so I can make some of these.
