If you're stuck in a crochet rut, consider working on this Shooting Star Baby Blanket Crochet Pattern. This project shows that not all free crochet baby blanket patterns need to look the same or have the same features. What really sets this pattern apart from the pack is its shape. The circular design is unique and unexpected, but the overall look is totally traditional. Best of all, you only need one skeins of each yarn color to complete this project, so there's no need to worry about breaking the bank.

How pretty! I love the different shape and I imagine baby and mom will too! Wow! What's not to love about this one! You can change up the colors to match your own decor or tailor it to the nursery if you're gifting it. If you do it in the colors shown it's appropriate for both genders too! It's also designated as an easy pattern so you can always have one made up and on hand.
