So clever, I never would have thought to use bottle caps! If they are the metallic type, then they would,work for,heat resistance, but if you use the plastic kind that come on water bottles, this would be for decor only. Another option might be to,use a variety of green buttons, either tinted or painted, or of course, already green! Such a fun project, thanks for sharing!

Very good idea. You have some very talented and creative people working for this site. Now that I am retired I have time to make all of these great things. Might I add if you glue the caps onto a piece of cork board that you have cut into a tree shape, you can use it as a hot plate for your holiday dining table.
